4 Iconic Long Beach Experiences

Long Beach may come second in city size next to Los Angeles in L.A. County, but it’s no less varied in neighborhood diversity.

Many Long Beach neighborhoods become hubs of activity in summer because of an abundance of retail shops and restaurants. Scenic and historic features set it apart from the rest of Los Angeles. Here are 4 popular Long Beach experiences we’re sure you’ll fall in love with.

NAPLES GONDOLA RIDE

It’s easy to fall in love with Naples, thanks to its public canals, that are especially charming on a gondola ride. This Italian-inspired Long Beach community was developed in the early 1900’s as the “Dreamland of Southern California” and consists of three islands filled with narrow streets and walkways, canals, and beautiful homes and boats. Friendly gondoliers cruise these waterways from mid-day to almost midnight, but sunset is especially popular for a romantic cruise.
